You will know you are in an encrypted area when you see a closed lock when using Microsoft Internet Explorer or a solid key when using Netscape Navigator. Look for these signs before entering your billing information. 

Information that is provided to 800wine.com as a result of your online purchase is treated as confidential, and will not be sold to any other parties.

Your Privacy

The 800wine.com website recognizes the home servers of visitors, but not their e-mail addresses. Individually identifiable e-mail addresses are not captured unless they are provided as a result of participation in any one of a number of opt-in or permission-based programs. E-mail addresses given to us as part of the order form will be used to send you an e-mail based order confirmation and, in some cases, a follow-up delivery confirmation. People who communicate with 800wine.com and supply us with an e-mail address may receive follow-up and future communications via e-mail. If you do not wish to receive e-mail messages from 800wine.com, you may opt-out at any time. To opt-out, simply send an e-mail to remove@800wine.com. E-mail addresses will not be sold to any other parties.

Please note that certain wine products on the 800wine.com website are shipped directly to you from the winery or producer.  In these cases, the winery or producer may send you subsequent information on other promotions or events at their winery.  If you do not wish to receive such information, you may notify the winery, who will remove you from their list.

Wine Clubs and Recurring Charges

Please note that for all recurring club orders, your credit card information will be encrypted and stored on a secure server, enabling us to charge you for each shipment.

Month-to-month memberships may be cancelled at any time. Because of planning and packing schedules, it is necessary to notify us of your desire to cancel by the 20th of the month prior to the month you wish to cancel.  If your cancellation request is received after the 20th of the month, we will make every effort to ensure that your next shipment is cancelled, but cannot guarantee cancellation until the following month.
